VP Sales (Cooliblade)
“CooliBlade is a next-generation cooling solution provider for high-power electronics. Thermal management is very critical for all kind of electronics. CooliBlade has developed the industry leading air-cooling technology, NEOcore, that enables higher power levels, longer life-time and installations for more demanding applications in power electronics.
CooliBlade (Thermal Channel Technologies Oy) is a VTT spin-off company that got its beginnings in the VTT LaunchPad deep-tech incubator program. Business Finland’s Research to Business (R2B) funding enabled developing the commercial aspects of the NEOcore technology further, with special emphasis to the commercialization routes and IPR protection.
CooliBlade is now two years old company and our journey towards global markets has started. To strengthen this growth, we are excited to announce the opening of a VP Sales position.
In this pivotal role your key responsibilities consist of creating and implementing our sales and Go-To-Market strategy for CooliBlade international sales. You lead the sales team as well as the business development activities, build relationships with customers, business- and sales partners.
In addition, you create and develop sales process, reporting, productization, pricing models, application knowledge and our presence as an operative board member.
Your contribution:
- Identify, study, and contact prospective customers and build positive relationships that will generate future sales and continuous business.
- Pursue sales leads, visit existing and new customers to execute our sales strategy and to build trust within our sales network.
- Lead complex customer negotiations and C-level dialogue.
- Negotiate prices, legal terms and conclude sales orders to meet our revenue targets.
- Refer sales leads, customer feedback, and analyze competitor activity to respond to changing market conditions and customer demands.
We value the following skills and mindset:
- Educational background on technical and/or commercial subjects (bachelor/ academic level)
- Experience and proven track record in sales and sales management; 5+ years
- Track record in B-to-B and high-tech sales. Technology licensing expertise is a bonus.
- Technical understanding of electronics products (and mechanics). Thermal management knowhow is considered as bonus. Industrial experience of High-Power electronics’ applications, like renewable energy storage systems, power inverters, EV Charging, AC drives, and power electronic modules like IGBTs, thyristors and SiC MOSFETs.
- Fluent skills in creating presentations, financial calculations and managing customer data (CRM).
- Strong growth driven and international mindset combined with customer centricity.
- Ability to work with high level of independence.
- Oulu is the preferable location, but also remote work is possible from other parts of Finland.
- Ability to travel and meet our customers and partners up to 50%.
- Fluent English (both written and verbal). German is considered as a bonus
